Head + Neck Surgery London was set up in 2018 by the UK's leading Head and Neck surgeons with the aim of helping patients with complex problems access the very best world-class care. We have treated hundreds of patients from around the world.
From the start, the emphasis for every step of a diagnosis - from consultation to post-operative care - is on each patient's unique requirements and preferences.

Alastair is an award-winning Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Head & Neck Surgeon, and Clinical Lead for Head and Neck Surgery at Guy's and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust.
Alastair became a core member of the South East London Head And Neck Cancer Multi-disciplinary Team, which provides cancer treatment to a regional population of over 2.5million in 2016. Since then Alastair has served as Chair of the Multidisciplinary Team at Guys hospital before becoming the Department Lead for Head and Neck Surgery.
Alastair is also now Clinical Lead for Head and Neck Surgery at the Prestigious Cromwell Hospital in Kensington, which is now the UKs leading provider of complex head and neck surgery in the private sector. Alastair has performed over 550 major head and neck reconstructions with a success rate of 98%.
As well as winning a prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, and a national prize from the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Alastair has presented at international conferences on jaw surgery and reconstruction. He has also had multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.
A keen innovator, his latest work centres upon reducing the side-effects of surgery, using minimally invasive techniques which can avoid the facial scars of traditional approaches.
Alastair's extensive experience as the highest volume surgeon in the UK makes him ideally placed to provide second opinions for patients undergoing head and neck cancer treatment.

Raf is a consultant oral maxillofacial head and neck surgeon. His specialist interest is the comprehensive surgical treatment of head and neck cancers, and he has devoted his career to optimising patient outcomes in complex facial reconstruction aimed at restoring function and appearance.
His busy NHS practice is based at Guy's and St Thomas' Trust, which has gained a reputation for offering complex surgical options where none were offered at other centres. As a team, the OMFS Head And Neck unit perform over 100 free flap reconstructive cases a year, making it one of the busiest units nationally.
Raf completed his Maxillofacial training in the highly competitive environment of London and was awarded the Advanced Head and Neck Surgical fellowship at Guy’s Hospital. He is well published in peer-reviewed journals, has written several book chapters and presented his work on both the national and international stage.
A key aspect for Raf, is providing the best possible patient-centred surgical care with minimal side effects, scarring and functional loss - thus aiming to optimise patients’ quality of life and wellbeing.

Aleix is a Consultant ENT and head & neck surgeon at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital London, with a sub-specialty tertiary referral practice in head & neck cancer surgery since 2020. He is a member of the Guy's and St Thomas' head and neck, thyroid and non-melanoma skin cancer multidisciplinary teams. Prior to this, he was a Consultant at St George's University Hospitals for 2 years. He has significant experience in the diagnosis and management of all types of head and neck cancer.
Aleix graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and completed his extensive ENT/Head and neck surgical training at the prestigious Bellvitge University Hospital. He completed further specialised fellowship training in advanced head and neck cancer surgery at Guy's Hospital.
He is actively involved in research and published internationally with several peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and a PhD thesis analysing the role of salvage surgery after head and neck squamous cell carcinoma treated with anti-EGFR.
Currently, he is undertaking research focusing on developing a better and more efficient diagnostic pathway for patients with head and neck cancer. He is an expert reviewer for several head and neck international journals.
