A treatment that offers hope
For some patients, Electrochemotherapy (ECT) can be an effective treatment for controlling cancers.
If other methods have been tried, or if the disease is persistent or recurrent, then ECT offers hope for reduced symptoms and an improved quality of life.
A simple one-day procedure
Carried out under a short general anaesthetic, ECT is usually a day-case procedure, and is normally well tolerated.
Head + Neck Surgery London are experienced at safely delivering ECT, and are pleased to be able to offer ECT to help improve symptoms and quality of life for patients with advanced or recurrent head and neck cancer.
